Polish and Indonesian Keywords Now AvailableFri 24 Mar 2017, 4:05 PM - laurie
Yay! We have just added 2 new languages to our Keyword Tool: Polish and Indonesian! You can now localize your app in Poland and Indonesia properly thanks to our keyword suggestions and keyword insights (Volume, KEI, Competition, Keywords Downloads, etc.) relying on native dictionaries in Polish and Indonesian. All details below.
A few months ago, we announced the arrival of Danish and Swedish keywords, as our first Scandinavian languages. (Spoiler Alert: Norwegian and Finnish will be coming up soon!)
As you know, our main concern is to provide you with the best data and the most insightful keywords suggestions.
As a reminder, if you want to build proper localization strategy, you will need to chose your keywords according to the particularities of the language, country and store trends.
In order to help you localize your app in different countries effectively, we have created native dictionaries for each language that we support. In short: unlike other ASO tools, we do not use any automatic translation. Automatic translations can be misleading, as seen in this VentureBeat article reviewing AppTweak.
Each of our dictionaries includes about 20,000 to 40,000 keywords. For each keyword, we make a direct search query to the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. We then check the results (such as keyword occurrences) in all app titles, descriptions, reviews & ratings, and also keyword rankings for each app.
Here’s the list of the languages that are now fully supported on AppTweak:
For each of the above 12 languages, you can use our Keywords Picking features to get some keyword inspiration for your app, and also spy on your competitors and category top keywords.
Our Keywords Analysis features now provide you with insights on Polish and Indonesian keyword performance.
You can get the Search Popularity (Volume) of any keywords in the 12 supported languages. Our data also helps you to determine the level of Competition for a keyword, as well as its KEI (Keywords Efficiency Index).
You can also track your app’s ranking history in comparison with your competitors, and also track your Percentage Stack.
Finally, our Keywords Monitoring section will help you to measure your keywords performance over time and compare your progression with similar apps.
By understanding your keywords performance, you’ll be able to determine which keywords should be replaced and which ones would be interesting to target instead.
Although our Keyword Tool fully supports 12 languages, you can also check some data for any language and alphabet (keyword app rankings and the total number of app results per keywords). All you need to do is to go to the “English” version of the app and the country desired and copy/paste your keywords there.
We hope that these 2 new languages will be helpful for your app localization strategy. Read this post if you want to discover localization best practices.
Again, more languages are already on the pipe (Asian languages, Finnish, Norwegian and more.) Feel free to reach out if you have any specific requests.
Will these two new languages be useful to you?

App Store Optimization is the mobile equivalent of Search engine optimization. Specifically, App Store Optimization includes the process of ranking highly in an app store's search results and top charts rankings. ASO marketers agree that ranking higher in search results and top charts rankings will drive more downloads for an app. - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
