Guess the Font is a quiz-type game in which you are shown a real-world example of a font which you have to identify. A selection of scrambled letters is provided to you to aid in identification. Upon successful identification, you earn virtual coins which can be spent towards hints. When a hint is used, it removes all extraneous letters and leaves only the scrambled letters of the font, making it easier for you to guess and perhaps form an association between a font and its example.
Additionally, there is a "Guide" section in which a directory of fonts is provided. After careful review of the directory, one can form associations and learn what specific fonts are. This new knowledge can then be practiced and applied in the game, establishing Guess the Font as the premier resource for learning fonts and typography.
Fun trivia! The Guess the Font title text on the main screen of the game is written in the "Pacifico" font, provided by Google.
