v3.4 release of Avenza Maps App provides direct support for point symbology, including a built-in collection of US National Park Service recreational symbols. All users can package their own PNG symbols as Keyhole Markup Language Zipped (KMZ) files, import and use them in the app. In addition, Avenza Pro users are now able to import and manage readily available collections of industry specific sets of symbols, such as EMSINA Australasian All Hazards Symbology set or US National Wildfire Coordinating Group GIS Standard Operating Procedures (GSTOP) on Incidents Point Symbols. These symbol sets can be downloaded directly from the Avenza Support Centre.
