App Description

BuddyUp gives every class it's own social network - join a study group, find a study partner and turn your classmates into friends. Participate in class-only chat and send buddy invites to people you want to get to know! ---------- 1.6: - Cleaner interface - Faster load times - Fixed up a bug that was preventing 1-to-1 messages from sending. Send away! - Provided a clear way for people who weren't able to add a picture to update their profile information. - New, clearer profile and settings navigation. - Faster app loads, and fewer blank screens. - More consistent navigation. 1.5 - You talked, we listened. We've heard that the app was too slow, and too confusing. So, we've stripped it down, and made it ten times faster. The latest version of the app is focused just on what matters - connecting you to your classmates. We're committed to making a great app that makes your life easier - keep the feedback coming! 1.3 - Better, Faster, More Reliable We focused on fixing bugs we've heard from all of you, and the result is an app that's more stable, looks a lot better, and has reliability fixes all throughout. More specifically, you should see: - A dramatically faster app on all pages - No more rare double-messages in inboxes - The "discover" page now shows you your newest classmates - Repeatedly tapping "Add class" or similar no longer makes a million classes. - No more "can't sync with firebase" messages. - Bugs with joining and leaving study groups fixed. - Buddying up now displays much faster - Fixes "white screen of doom", where things would get stuck during loading. - Fixed errant "verify email" screens. - Fixes a bug where study groups wouldn't load the second time you opened them. We're working hard every day to make the app better for you - keep the feedback coming to help@buddyup.org! 1.1.16 - New in this version: - Fixes a big bug that was preventing users who joined after August 1 from buddying up. Buddy away! - Support for additional email address formats for the University of New South Wales, and the University of Washington. - Lots of smaller fixes to the interface, news feed items, and a small speed increase (still working on the big one though.) 1.1.14 - New in this version: - Adds the schools of the San Mateo Community College District. Skyline, Cañada, and San Mateo, welcome! - Fixes a few bugs with classmate count and news feed styling. Keep the feedback coming! 1.1 - New in this version: Thanks to your feedback, we've fixed some bugs and made it a whole lot faster throughout the entire app. Keep the feedback coming! 1.0 - New in this version: This is the first release of BuddyUp as an iOS app! We've included lots of new features as well, including study groups, private messaging, hearts, and an activity feed. We've got more to come, too!
