(Access the Settings panel from the bottom left of Filmborn's image library - it's the little gear icon.) WHAT'S NEXT: Our next project for Filmborn is to add new film presets. These will include: Portra Pushed and Fujicolor Pushed film preset collections. We've already released our Mastin Labs Portra Pushed presets for Adobe® Lightroom™ and they've been a huge hit! We're excited to see what our community creates with the upcoming film looks. BUGS: We fixed some small issues with the Library and image buffering when taking many photos in a row. ‘The emulation here of actual photographic film may be the best around, even compared to stalwarts like Hipstamatic and VSCO’– PC Magazine Hold the past, present, and future of photography in the palm of your hand. With film live-preview, gesture-controlled white balance and exposure, true-to-film presets, custom curves, batch editing and more, you’ll discover the power of your iPhone! NOTABLE FEATURES: ● Film live-preview This camera feature provides a live preview of your subject with your selected preset applied. With this feature, you can then adjust exposure and white balance accurately and capture a photo with little to no editing needed. ● Gesture-based white balance and exposure Set the correct white balance and exposure before you take a photo. In the camera, swipe up/down to adjust exposure and left/right to set the white balance temperature. These two key features will allow you to achieve accurately exposed photos at the moment of capture. Do this with film live-preview on and experience what we call a 'zero-click edit.' ● True-to-Film Presets Our proprietary color science makes it so no other app can match film as accurately as Filmborn. The process involves intensive side-by-side comparisons between actual film scans from a Fuji Frontier Scanner, and identical digital images shot with the iPhone, to give our users the elegant and timeless look of real film on the iPhone. ● Highlight clipping Preserve details in your highlights by using our highlight clipping tool. Turning on this camera tool will allow you to see in real-time where your whites/highlights are being blown out and replaced by pure white. Swipe down in the viewfinder to lower exposure and bring detail back into the highlights. ● Custom Camera kit (2 additional kits available as an in-app purchase) Personalize Filmborn with up to three custom cameras. Configure each one with a viewfinder, virtual lens, and film preset for specific uses, such as a street or portrait photography. Quickly access and switch between them. ● Curves (in-app purchase) All-or-nothing contrast sliders just don't work so we gave you total control of tones. Custom Curves is the photo editing tool you didn't know you needed. This easy to use darkroom feature gives you independent adjustment of shadows, mid-tones, and highlights in your photos, allowing maximum creative control. ● Learn to master real film Filmborn not only provides the most accurate film matching of any mobile photography app, but it also includes education about how to shoot film. To access this content, press and hold on any film preset button in the camera or darkroom. ● Last photo review Quickly and easily preview the previous photo you took without leaving the camera. Press and hold your thumb on the library icon in the bottom right of the camera. The last photograph will pop up. Release your thumb from the screen to exit the preview.
