Bug fixes

Version 9.6 released on March 05, 2018
Better Preflight Workflow with Pack on Flights • Now you can Pack right from the Flights view, ensuring you have the charts, weather, NOTAMs, and data needed for flight. • Pack analyzes your route to determine the data you need, then prompts you to download with a single tap. Packed data is available offline and accessible when in flight. • Pack also includes Icing and Turbulence map layers for Pro Plus and Performance subscribers, helping you find smoother air while in flight. Faster, Smarter Routes Options for Your Flights • For Performance subscribers, the new Recommended Route feature (formerly AviationCloud Autoroute) gives you the best route based on your detailed aircraft performance profile and time/fuel savings, while also accounting for preferred routes, recent ATC cleared routes, and how frequently a given route is assigned. Use Recommended Route for more ‘cleared as filed’ flight plans optimized for your aircraft. • Smart altitude suggestions for short legs prevent uncomfortably short cruise times at or near the aircraft’s service ceiling, and provide altitudes that ATC is more likely to accept. • For all customers who File with ForeFlight, expected Route notifications now include “(as filed)” after the route string if the expected route is the same as the one you filed. Expanded NOTAMs and New Closure Warnings • A new airport closure warning banner indicates when airports are closed by NOTAM. • A new runway closure warning banner indicates when runways are closed by NOTAM. • Airport and runway closure warnings are updated in flight when connected to Stratus, Scout, or Garmin ADS-B In accessories. • European NOTAMS are now included. New Flight Log Streamlines Your Record-Keeping • The Flight Log simplifies your post-flight data entry and provides an easy way to compare planned performance with actual results. • Easily capture fuel at shutdown, start/end meter times, and Out/Off/On/In times right in the Flights view. • ForeFlight calculates and displays block, flight, and meter times for quick reference. • Ending meter times are carried over to the next flight with the same aircraft as optional quick-fill values. Temperature and Dewpoint Added to MOS Forecasts • In addition to TAFs, ForeFlight displays extended forecast data for over 2,000 US airports using MOS (Model Output Statistics) weather prediction models. • MOS in ForeFlight now includes temperature and dewpoint values and ranges, when available, for more informed flight planning. Updates to ForeFlight on the Web • For a more seamless experience between web and mobile, the Maps page on the web now has a combined Favorite/Recent Route button with Edit/Clear function. • For Performance subscribers, taxi fuel is now included in the total fuel burn values shown when viewing Route and Altitude Advisors. • Route Advisor now prompts you to convert metric flight levels to feet when a route includes them. Also in this release: • New “translated text” setting for Legacy Briefing format • FBO information included in printable Navlog • Support for %MAC entry in Weight & Balance for Performance subscribers • New ICAO Equipment codes for oceanic flights: P1, P2, P3
