➢ *NEW – Added USMC ‘Marine Gunner’ Chief Warrant Officer Insignia ➢ *IMPROVEMENT – Added ‘No Insignia’ image for USMC E-1 Private ➢ *IMPROVEMENT – Higher Res US Army Rank Insignia images ➢ *CORRECTION – from SGT Aldrich, 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment regarding the US Army description for 2LT. The ‘position’ of platoon sergeant was abbreviated SGT implying the position is held by a SGT E-5. This is inaccurate. A platoon sergeant position may be held by a staff sergeant promotable (SSG(P)), or a sergeant first class (SFC). In either situation, the appropriate abbreviation is PSG when referring to the position of platoon sergeant regardless of the occupants rank. ➢ *FIX – Army Lieutenant Colonel let us know that our description of Army Major General is incorrect ‘highest permanent rank held during peacetime, higher ranks are temporary linked to specific positions’. So we deleted it. We also added information about the new stuff in the paid version (Military Ranks +). We have added ranks insignia for West Point, the US Naval Academy, the US Air Force Academy as well as Army ROTC/JROTC and Air Force ROTC with the rest of the branches being added soon. If you like the free version – you will love the paid version!
