Support for the Nest Temperature Sensor. Control the temperature in the room that is most relevant for you – not just where the thermostat happens to be. Adjust and customize scheduling for different rooms throughout the day. Once installed you can view the temperature of a room the sensor is in. Choose which room you want to control by selecting the corresponding sensor below the thermostat controls. Nest Secure users can now set the alarm to go off instantly when they’re in Home and Guarding mode, so that they are immediately notified when a door opens at night. Nest Guard can notify you with an audible chime when a door or window has been opened. With Quiet time you can turn your home’s indoor chime on and off. Set a duration for how long you would like to mute your chime.

The Nest app now supports Nest Hello video doorbell. Nest Hello lets you know who’s there, so you never miss a visitor or a package delivery. If you have a Google Home, it can tell you when someone’s at the door, and even tell you who it is if you have Nest Aware. Support for the Nest x Yale Lock. Together, Nest and Yale have made a tamper-proof, key-free deadbolt that connects to the Nest app. Now you can lock and unlock your door from anywhere. Turn on Home/Away Assist and Auto-Lock, your door can lock itself when you leave. Give people you trust a passcode, instead of a key. And always know who comes and goes. Nest Cam customers can view a new detailed events list in the camera view. The new list view allows you to filter the events you want to see: motion, person, or familiar face.
