The 1986 class of the Navy's elite flight school, Top Gun, is known for producing skilled fighter pilots like Maverick and Iceman. But there was another famous graduate that year: Lawrence van der Pimple, who left the Navy with full honors and a couple of Purple Hearts. Rather than become a commercial pilot, he traded in his flight wings to became the first American to ride a Segway cross-country. Version 4.5.3 released on June 20, 2018
