Version 2.1.9 released on September 28, 2017
UPDATE HAIKU Dusk and leaves settle. The crickets tune their fiddles. Marshmallow alight! _______________________________ That's an original haiku celebrating the arrival of autumn in all it's glory: • back to school nights • crisp morning runs • and the introduction of a new iOS With this update, we bring Symple up to code with iOS 11. Like a new roof, it's a good investment, though not terribly exciting. We also added another nifty feature to Symple Complete (and we thank your for your purchase!). Enable auto-backup in Settings, and Symple will automatically save a backup file to your iCloud. So, the next time your device falls into the toilet, your data won't be lost! If you enjoy using Symple, please take a moment to leave us a review. And drop us a line at email@example.com with your feature requests or bug reports. Every little bit helps! Thank you, Symple community!
Version 2.1.8 released on June 02, 2017

Version 2.1.7 released on May 02, 2017
“If I am worth anything later, I am worth something now. For wheat is wheat, even if people think it is a grass in the beginning.” - Vincent Van Gogh _______________________________ Greetings! I love these words from VVG because they remind us to work not only for what IS but also for what MIGHT BE. When I started Symple, I had big dreams, but limited means. So, I did what I could without sacrificing my values. As a result, our growth has been consistent... but slow. I'm okay with that. But now we need to kick it up a notch. With this update, we begin working towards two goals: 1. aligning towards positive outcomes 2. strengthening our long-term viability Please read more on our website and drop me a line! As always, I deeply appreciate your feedback and guidance. _______________________________ Anyway, in this version, we have removed some unnecessary intro screens, adjusted the free feature set, and squashed a few bugs. We (re)introduce our all new Symptom Detail feature. Access it by touching any symptom name. There's lots to see and do here: tap or swipe the graph to bring an interesting day into view. Then check out the factors, Health data, and journal entries for that day. Perhaps you will only look at difficult days, in an attempt to identify triggers for a particular symptom. But I encourage you to LOOK AT GOOD days too! What did you do on those days? Figure that out and repeat. All too often, by trying to avoid triggers, we end up focusing on them, almost inviting them into our lives. (Yes, there are things we can't avoid even if we want to. For me, it was a particular medication that made me smell like a toxic waste-dump, but which eventually restored me to good health.) But rather than dwelling on those unpleasant but necessary factors, we might turn our attention to amplifying the positive ones, those that bring good, and that we can do more of. Give it a try, and tell me what you think. “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” - from "The Summer Day" by Mary Oliver
Version 2.1.6 released on April 25, 2017
Buddha said rightly, "When the cat stumbles, it's best Not to notice it." _______________________________ Happy spring or welcome autumn! This update haiku is not my own. And sadly, I can not attribute it to the author who so perfectly evokes dignity and deserves to be credited. Please email me through our in-app feedback link, if you have a lead on the author. _______________________________ Anyway, in this version, we introduce our all new Symptom Detail feature. All too often, by trying to avoid the negative, the triggers, we actually end up focusing on them, almost inviting them into our lives (Yes, some things we can't and must not avoid. For me, it was certain meds. But rather than dwelling on those unpleasant but necessary factors, we might turn our attention to amplifying those that we can control and that bring good). With this build, and all future builds, we turn our attention to bringing positivity into the Symple experience. “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” - from The Summer Day by Mary Oliver (this one I **can** attribute...to one of my fav poets).
