Challenge

CoinSwitch’s ASO team faced mounting pressure to maximize organic user acquisition ahead of a major product expansion campaign. It was a critical moment for growth, and improving ASO metrics was central to hitting their acquisition goals efficiently.

Two challenges stood out:

  • Keyword rankings: growth on key terms was limited, making it harder to expand reach.
  • Conversion rates: visit-to-install conversion was underperforming, preventing CoinSwitch from turning more page visits into installs.

Before AppTweak, the team relied on basic in-house analytics like using the consoles to see which keywords brought visitors and downloads to their own app—but they had no visibility into competitor keywords, downloads, or metadata. Manual keyword research also lacked actionable insights, slowing down iteration cycles during a critical growth phase.

Solution

Prior experience with custom store listings was enhanced by AppTweak’s visibility into the market.

Creative Explorer provided a clearer picture of how competitors position screenshots across different verticals, and Live Search Results helped uncover the CSLs competitors were running on different keywords.
