Compare your Apple and Google conversion rates with other apps in the same industry
We’ve added a new tab to AppTweak that gives you access to the conversion rate benchmarks for each app category per country and store.
Conversion rate benchmarks per category for the Apple App Store (all sources) - US
For the Apple App Store, you’ll find 3 conversion benchmarks: one from Impressions to Page Views, one from Page Views to Installs and one from Impressions to Installs. On Google, you’ll see the conversion rate benchmark from Listing Visitors to Installers.
Conversion rate benchmarks per category for the Google Play Store in the US
If you wish to compare your app’s performance with apps in the same industry, all you have to do is select the store and country you’re working on, then find the appropriate category to compare with. By confronting your numbers with our benchmarks, you’ll immediately get an idea if your conversion rates are over- or underperforming.
Conversion rate benchmarks for mobile gaming categories on the Apple App Store (all sources) - US
The benchmarks are calculated based on the data of thousands of apps that have synced their iTunes Connect and Google Console with AppTweak. For each benchmark, we make sure there is a significant number of apps for the numbers to be statistically relevant. If we don’t have sufficient data a “-” is shown.
You can recalculate the conversion rate benchmarks for the date range of your choice. On Apple, you can even drill the results down by source (All, App Store Search, App Store Browse, App Referrer and Web Referrer).
On Google, you can choose to view the conversion rate benchmarks either by country or by channel (All, Play Store Organic, Google Search Organic, 3rd Part Referrers, Ad Words Campaigns, Tracked Channels UTM & Other).
